The Eclipse
Our notes
The Eclipse reaches 480 in. wide, tying for the widest awning in our list; the other two at that width are also Eclipse models. Extensions run 5'0", 7'4", 9'0", 10'6" and 11'6". It is sold through independent dealers, so expect to request a quote rather than see a price. Power is a Somfy "Plug-in motor with override motor feature, remote controlled," and a manual version is also offered. Mounting is listed as "Wall, soffit & roof." The wind statement reads "Up to class III rated 81 Lbs/30 mph."

Copied exactly from the seller's page, read 2026-11-01. Sellers don't test wind the same way, so this can't be compared with another seller's figure. More on wind wording.
How it mounts depends on your wall, fascia or beam. Confirm it with the maker or a licensed installer.
